1. Booking and confirmation
An appointment is confirmed once we send a written quote and you accept it (by reply text, email, or online booking). We may request a deposit for jobs over $500.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel or reschedule with 24 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a 25% fee. No-shows (we arrive and the vehicle is not available) are charged in full.
3. Weather
The Gloss Spot Auto Detailing performs work in light overcast or drizzle conditions. We monitor forecasts and may proactively reschedule for severe weather (heavy rain, hail, lightning). Rescheduling for weather is free.
4. Vehicle access
You agree to provide reasonable access to the vehicle and a flat parking surface. We bring our own water and power. If we cannot complete the work due to lack of access, the appointment is treated as a no-show.
5. Pre-existing damage
We document the vehicle's condition before any work begins. Pre-existing scratches, swirls, dents, stains, and other damage are not the responsibility of The Gloss Spot Auto Detailing. We will inform you of any pre-existing condition that affects the result.
6. Result expectations
Detailing improves the appearance of a vehicle but does not always restore it to new condition. Severely damaged paint, deep stains, smoke damage, and biological contamination may require multiple sessions or specialized restoration that is beyond standard detailing.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon completion. We accept cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and Zelle.
8. Insurance
The Gloss Spot Auto Detailing carries general liability insurance. In the unlikely event of accidental damage caused by our service, we will work with you to resolve the issue fairly.
